Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, payroll processes, and compliance needs. Provide expert advice on leveraging SAP Payroll functionalities to meet their specific payroll objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including system setup, configuration, and customization of SAP Payroll modules. Configurepayroll schemas, wage types, and payroll rules to align with client requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by validating data inputs, performing payroll calculations, and executing payroll runs. Verify payroll results, including gross-to-net calculations, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and errors. Investigate and analyze payroll data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Provide ongoing support to clients and end-users for payroll-related queries and system inquiries.
  • Stay updated on local, regional, and international payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor requirements. Ensure payroll processes comply with legal obligations, such as tax withholdings, social security contributions, and statutory reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new features, and enhancements in SAP Payroll to provide proactive recommendations for process improvements.

Skills

  • Relevant Certifications in SAP Payroll or Human Capital Management are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a SAP Payroll Consultant or in a similar role, with hands on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Payroll solutions
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Payroll modules, including Payroll Processing, Wage Type Configuration, Tax Calculation, Time Management, and Benefits Administration
  • Familiarity with payroll integration between SAP Payroll and other SAP Modules, such as Employee Central or Financial Accounting
  • Strong understanding of payroll reporting tools within SAP, such as SAP Query, Ad Hoc Query, or SAP Report Writer/Report Painter
  • Ability to perform data analysis, conduct payroll audits, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
